About Me
Hi, I'm Katherine!
I am a 2D animator based in Ottawa, Ontario. While I’ve always loved art, animation drew me in because there’s something profoundly magical about making drawings come to life, and who wouldn’t like to do magic for a living!
I’m a recent graduate from the Animation Program at Algonquin College. I am trained in rigged and hand-drawn animation using ToonBoom Harmony. I am also comfortable with programs such as Autodesk Maya and Photoshop.
I have a fascination with character acting and greatly enjoy animating animals, but the thing that I love most is getting to work along side other amazing artists. I’ve had the pleasure of working on short films such as Dr. Greenthumb and Count Me In.
When I’m not animating, I enjoy reading cool books I find at the library, watching movies, knitting mittens, and playing badminton.
